No client. No brief. No existing building. Just an idea: a top-floor restaurant on a Manhattan skyscraper, built entirely from scratch, to answer one question.

Can a single space tell multiple stories at once?

The concept

Skyline Restaurant started with nothing but a vision and a blank scene. The space was modelled, lit, and art directed from the ground up, every surface, every camera angle, every atmosphere chosen deliberately to demonstrate what a fully considered visual suite can do for a hospitality project.

The goal wasn't just to make beautiful renders. It was to show how light, time of day, and human presence can transform the same space into completely different emotional experiences, and how AI animation can bind those moments into a single narrative.

What we delivered

Four interior renders, each one a distinct chapter in the life of the restaurant.

Midday, empty. The space in its purest form. Clean light flooding through floor-to-ceiling windows, the Manhattan skyline unobstructed, the room waiting. This is the render that sells the architecture, the bones, the materiality, the view.

Late afternoon, quiet. The light beginning to shift, the first hint of atmosphere arriving. The space is still sparse but starting to feel inhabited, on the edge of becoming something.

Evening, full. The restaurant alive. Tables occupied, the bar lit, the city glowing outside. The moment when the design stops being an idea and becomes a place people are actually choosing to spend their evening.

The proposal. One table. Two people. The city at night through the glass. This single scene does more for a hospitality brief than any specification sheet: it makes the viewer feel exactly what the space is capable of producing.

The AI animation tied all four moments together into a single film, a journey through the day from an empty room at noon to a charged, intimate evening, the space slowly coming to life around the people inside it.

Why it matters

This project was an experiment in workflow as much as it was a portfolio piece. Can AI animation bridge the gap between static renders and cinematic storytelling, without a traditional production budget? The answer shaped how we now approach animation for hospitality and high-end residential clients.

The result speaks for itself. A restaurant that doesn't exist, in a building that hasn't been built, that feels completely real.
